CFL students joined Korean Festival 2012

Korean Festival 2012 was held on October 27th, at Me Tri Dormitory hosted by Korea Foundation and Hanoi University of Social sciences and Humanities on the occasion of 20-year anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relation between Vietnam and Korea and for the celebration of 566th Hangul day (Hangul is the Korean national alphabet).

A variety of activities were organized including Quiz contest; cheering contest; singing and dancing contest; writing calligraphy contest; fast Korean typing contest; displaying Korean photos and introducing Korean traditional food, clothes, games. Students majoring in Korean or participating in Korean courses from 8 universities (Hanoi University of Social sciences and Humanities; Universities of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University; Hue University; Da Nang University; Hanoi University; Center for Foreign Languages – Hanoi University of Science and Technology; Korea Discovery Club – Hanoi University of Foreign Trade; Sejong Korean culture Center) have taken part in the Festival.

On behalf of HUST, students of “Samsung Talent Program” studying Korean courses at Center for Foreign Languages (CFL) joined the Festival under the supervision and support of CFL. Although it is the first time that HUST students have officially participated in the annual Korean Festival, they received a warm welcome from other universities’’ students.
