Collaboration Workshop on Aerospace Engineering at HUST

Within the framework of the collaboration between Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Mitsubishi Heavy Industries LTD (MHI) and Nagoya University, the 4th “Collaboration Workshop on Aerospace Engineering” was successfully held at HUST on October 23rd , 2012.

The Workshop attracted more than 80 participants including scientists, experts, engineers, teaching staff and students from corporations, companies, research institutes, and other organization which operating in Aerospace field. The Collaboration Workshop 2012 was also marked the first time the active participation of professors, researchers from The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and FPT University.

The workshop covered a wide range of scientific topics such as: Simulation and Experiment study of Delta flow, MHI-Advanced Aerodynamic Design, A New CFD (computational fluid dynamics) Scheme, Simulations for Fluid-Motion interaction problems, F-1 CubeSat project and potential applications of nano-satellites …

Since the first Agreement of Scholarship signed in 2009, organizing a “Collaboration Workshop on Aerospace Engineering” has become an annual activity at HUST which help to further develop the triangle collaboration among HUST, Nagoya University and MHI. Attending the Collaboration Workshop, participants had a great opportunity to exchange latest information, experience and knowledge in Aerospace Engineering domain and to seek for new cooperation. The 5th Collaboration Workshop is scheduled to take place at the end of 2013 at HUST.
